SITA, the global IT provider for the air transport industry, needed to keep hundreds to thousands of remote airport workstations secure and up to date despite extremely limited bandwidth and rising cyber threats. Manual updates or on-site maintenance were costly, slow and risked disrupting critical services like check-in and reservations.

By integrating 1E’s Nomad with SCCM, SITA used a peer-to-peer, cloud “pull” distribution model that leverages spare bandwidth and removes the need for local servers. The solution delivered immediate results—transparent Office 365 deployments to 64Kbps sites, reduced bandwidth use, eliminated per-site servers and associated costs, and faster, more secure delivery of updates to support Windows 10 migrations.
