San Antonio Botanical Garden celebrates 45th anniversary with 19 Ideas

San Antonio Botanical Garden, a cherished cultural landmark in Texas, partnered with the vendor 19 Ideas to design a commemorative logo for its 45th anniversary. The challenge was to create a fresh, festive design that celebrated the Garden’s heritage and featured its iconic Moy Grande Hibiscus, while also maintaining consistency with its established brand identity and ensuring versatility for various promotional uses.

19 Ideas developed a solution that balanced tradition with modernity, redrawing the hibiscus and integrating it with the number "45" using the Tomato Grotesk typeface and an adapted color palette. The resulting logo and complementary pattern were applied to a suite of collateral materials. The design was well-received by stakeholders and the community, successfully bridging the Garden's legacy with a fresh aesthetic and strengthening its connection with the audience throughout the anniversary year.
