WSP Synergising the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing

WSP, as part of the APB TSRC Joint Venture with Aurecon, needed a better way to manage and share large volumes of design data and project correspondence across a 41 km infrastructure project for the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing. The team also had to coordinate work across offices and support fast access to 12d Model files, GIS data, SWMM data, and email communication.

WSP implemented 12d Synergy to centralize project data, support collaboration, and manage email for more than 80 users. The platform helped reduce file open times from 30–40 minutes to around 1–2 minutes through local caching, while also storing over 30,000 project emails in a searchable central repository; 12d Synergy also enabled selective export for sharing, backup, and archiving.
