Case Study: TME delivers a world-class trotting track upgrade with 12d Model

The customer, Thompson McRobert Edgeloe (TME), a multidisciplinary consultancy, faced the challenge of redeveloping the Bunbury Trotting Complex. This required designing a new world-class harness racing track and upgraded facilities to modernize the complex and enable high-standard televised broadcasts. TME utilized 12d Solutions' 12d Model software to design the project.

The solution from 12d Solutions involved creating a fully detailed digital model with 12d Model, which allowed TME to optimize the track's complex geometry. This model was provided to the contractor to achieve construction with a 5mm tolerance. The result was a technically advanced track that is considered the fastest in Australia. The project's success led to TME being commissioned for several other major harness racing track designs.
