The Sydney Olympics faced the immense challenge of constructing numerous world-class venues and supporting infrastructure on a strict deadline for the 2000 Games. To meet this challenge, principal consultants and contractors utilized 12d Solutions' software, then known as 4d Model and now called 12d Model.

12d Solutions' software was implemented across nearly all major Olympic projects, including Stadium Australia, the SuperDome, and the Olympic Village, as well as for roads, services, and water features. For the Sydney SuperDome, 12d Model provided critical on-site quality assurance. A spokesperson for contractor Abigroup stated that "12d Model has proved to be an excellent tool for handling extremely large project models," contributing to the successful delivery of the venues for the best Games ever.
