Lendlease, then operating as Abigroup, faced the challenge of ensuring precise quality assurance and avoiding construction clashes for the massive Multi-Use Arena at Sydney Olympic Park. The company required a robust system to manage a huge volume of survey data and on-site checking for this critical Olympic venue. They implemented 12d Solutions' product, then known as 4D Model (later renamed 12d Model), to handle survey file management, calculations, and data storage.

The solution from 12d Solutions involved converting 2D drawings into 3D models on-site to compare with survey data, preventing clashes in services and structure. The software successfully managed models containing 60,000 to 70,000 points, with its layering feature proving excellent for visualization and file handling. 12d Solutions' product was credited with coping with the enormous amount of data and performing admirably, giving Abigroup the confidence it would successfully see the project through to completion.
