The customer, IPWEA, partnered with several major councils in South East Queensland and vendor 12d Solutions to address the challenge of numerous created an especially onerous burden for small consulting firms that lacked the resources to customize their programs for each individual council authority.

The solution implemented by 12d Solutions involved facilitating meetings with council leads to develop a common standard, which included creating standardized files for sections and drainage outputs. As a result, 12d Solutions helped establish a foundation for improved workflows across the region, with plans to expand standardization to other areas and the hope that other regions will adopt the model.
