With MPLS costs high and connectivity challenges affecting customer experience, the company looked for a more resilient approach and evaluated options including the Session Smart™ distributed routing system from 128 Technology.

128 Technology implemented a tunnel-free SD-WAN solution using the 128T Networking Platform and Secure Vector Routing, enabling CMC Networks to eliminate tunneling overhead, reduce fragmentation, improve throughput, and support dynamic multi-path routing across MPLS, Internet, LTE, and satellite links. The result was zero downtime during tunnel failures, better use of low-cost links, improved service reliability and SLA performance, and an estimated deployment payback of less than six months.
