How the IFA has Partnered with 120Water to Prioritize Clean Drinking Water for Hoosier Children

The Indiana Finance Authority sought to proactively protect children from lead in drinking water by launching a voluntary, statewide testing program for public schools. They partnered with the vendor 120Water to help them scale and execute this initiative, utilizing the company's sample kits and program software for data management.

120Water implemented a comprehensive solution that included specialized sample kits, a software platform for tracking and reporting, and a full-service team for training and support. This allowed the Indiana Finance Authority to efficiently test tens of thousands of fixtures, identify lead exceedances, and successfully secure federal WIIN funding for a second, expanded phase of the program. The efforts of 120Water enabled the testing of over 975 schools and 61,000 samples, making a significant impact on public health.
