Denver Water distributes 150,000 pitcher filters and 600,000 replacement filters with 120Water

Denver Water faced the challenge of addressing an estimated 64,000 to 84,000 customer-owned lead service lines connected to its system. To protect its community, the utility launched a holistic Lead Reduction Program requiring a massive effort to distribute water filters and manage a pre- and post-replacement water sampling program. The vendor 120Water was engaged to facilitate these critical components.

120Water implemented a solution to distribute and manage 150,000 pitcher filters and 1.2 million replacement filters over three years, in addition to handling all water testing kits. The vendor's digital platform automated the process: test results from partner labs were uploaded, triggering automated communications to both Denver Water and its customers. This provided valuable centralized data and ensured customer protection throughout the multi-year replacement program.
