City of Bloomington helps 99.9% of water systems log into PWS Portal with 120Water

The City of Bloomington, Indiana, through the state's Indiana Finance Authority and Indiana Department of Environmental Management, faced the multifaceted challenge of operationalizing and enforcing the EPA's Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR). This required a solution to collect, store, and report service line inventory data from nearly 1,400 water systems. 120Water was contracted to provide a digital solution for this compliance objective.

120Water implemented its Digital Water Platform, specifically the PWS Portal and State Dashboard modules, to standardize data management and automate reporting. This allowed water systems to manage and submit their inventories, while the state could track progress and export data in the required federal format. As a result, 99.9% of the water systems had users actively accessing the portal, and 127 complete inventories were submitted to the state, providing regulators with actionable insights and a jumpstart on future compliance work.
