Deploying to the iland cloud enabled netexperts and its customer GxPi to save money, time and GxPi’s client

GxPi, a UK-based specialist in GxP compliance and provider of the x-docs™ document-management solution, faced a critical post-go-live problem for a Life Sciences client: an intermittent error that neither GxPi nor the client could consistently reproduce. Compliance rules prevented GxPi from working directly in the client’s live environment, so after weeks of failed attempts the company engaged netexperts and iland to recreate the exact production environment in the cloud.

Netexperts converted the client’s server images to OVF and deployed them on iland Cloud Services’ VMware-based virtual datacenter, creating isolated, controllable copies with baseline snapshots and granular access. This let GxPi reproduce and fix the error rapidly, save on capital and operational costs versus duplicating hardware, preserve the client relationship, and establish a repeatable, pay-for-use model that enables full environment replication within 24 hours and future use for testing, training and hosted deployments.
