Innovative Systems, a provider of risk and compliance systems for financial institutions, was managing five separate data centers around the world to meet regional data residency requirements. As their SaaS business grew, they wanted help proving the value of moving to Microsoft Azure and reducing the cost, complexity, and pain of running disparate bare-metal VM environments.

10th Magnitude began with an “Art of the Possible” presentation, then helped Innovative Systems evaluate, plan, and migrate its infrastructure to Azure, including data migration, weekend cutovers, and a security analysis across all sites. The result was a more centralized, robust operating platform, migration of four of five data centers, and measurable savings of about 20% from 2017 to 2018, with projected hosted cost reductions of 20–30% by 2019.
