Global BI Platform Drives Timely Decisions At Claire’s

Claire’s, the specialty jewelry and accessories retailer, needed faster access to granular sales and merchandising data to support better decisions across store operations, planning, merchandising, and customer analysis. Before working with 1010Data, teams often had to rely on Excel, custom IT reports, and slower manual analysis to answer basic questions about SKU performance and customer behavior.

1010Data implemented a cloud-based big data analytics and BI platform for Claire’s, giving more than 100 users global access to integrated data and self-service reporting. The solution was rolled out in about seven months and enabled faster decision-making, deeper SKU-level analysis, longer transaction-history retention for loss prevention, and quicker sales contest reporting; Claire’s also said the platform may reduce its need for dedicated CRM and loyalty applications.
