The retailer turned to 1010Data and its cloud-based data warehouse and reporting solution to create a single source for fast, large-scale analysis.

1010Data implemented a scalable private-cloud system that initially processed two years of POS data and later expanded across the enterprise. The solution helped Dollar General speed up item-level analysis from monthly to daily, improve merchandising and supply chain decisions, and uncover actionable insights; the system now handles 45 terabytes and 70 billion rows of data, with usage growing from 30–40 executives to 250 and a planned expansion to more than 750 users.
