Lifetime Brands, a Garden City, NY–based retail and manufacturing company of home goods, was overwhelmed by thousands of daily EDI transactions (Gentran) feeding its SAP systems. Customer service, compliance, purchasing and EDI teams spent hours cutting and pasting raw EDI to locate POs, invoices and shipment details, making research, dispute resolution and chargeback investigation slow, error-prone and costly.
